The Glückskinderwelt Team
Our team, consisting of round about 70 employees, sets great store by open and intensive communication. Our teachers, nursery workers and professional educators provide us with a great many talents; they are active in terms of music, creative arts or sports and offer your children a range of versatile and varied opportunities. We are convinced that a harmonious, strong and happy team makes the difference. Regular internal meetings, supervision and coaching, further training and team events help to create stability and promote cohesion.

Glückskinderwelt was founded by Isabelle Christou in 2009 and, together with her husband Robert Christou, has been developing it since 2017 into one of the largest, owner-managed daycare centers in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis. "We personnaly work every day to ensure that our parents, children and employees feel comfortable at all times. Appreciative interaction with one another, good communication and close cooperation between the groups, the management team and the owners form the basis for high-quality pedagogy at Glückskinderwelt, stable groups and a good working atmosphere." Isabelle and Robert Christou can draw on 20 and 25 years of experience as business executives in the areas of HR, finance, business/corporate development and M&A.
Sandra Schmitz
Head of Glückskinderwelt
Sandra Schmitz studied pedagogy / curative education at the University of Cologne. After several years of experience in administrative activities, she successfully completed her training as a state-approved youth and home educator at SRH Heidelberg in October 2016. She gained her educational experience as a nanny in private households and in family-substituting work. In July 2017, she became part of the Glückskinderwelt, after a short period of time she became teamleader. Since September 2018, Sandra is head of Glückskinderwelt.
Astrid Hill
Head of Glückskinderwelt
Astrid Hill successfully completed her training as a state-approved educator in September 2016. From February 2017 to October 2020 Astrid was part of the Glückskinderwelt and became teamleader after a short time. During this period she went through several groups and gained extensive experience. After one year absence for studies in education, Astrid returned in October 2021 and in the meantime became second head of Glückskinderwelt.
